Hi there all you Blues folks. We know some of you have been following the Blues ever since you first heard that thumping groove or that searing guitar lick or that gut-wrenching voice or that haunting harp...whatever it was, it got you hooked. And you couldn't get enough of it.You wanted more. More books, more records, more videos. You need to know more. Well, how about goin' all the way to where it all began? How 'bout making a pilgrimage to the heartland of the Blues? That's right. The Singapore Blues Club is proposing a trip to the US of A. Gettin' on the road from Memphis all the way deep into the Mississippi delta. Thru Helena and a meeting with destiny on that crossroads in Clarksdale. Soaking up the Blues from Greenville, Indianola, Greenwood all the way down to Jackson, Mississippi. Yep, catching live Blues acts on Beale Street, visiting the Delta Blues Museum, Cat Head Records, Riverside Hotel, Hopson Plantation, Indianola's BB King museum and plenty more. Complete details are not yet available but if all goes to plan, the wagon will leave last week of May. If you're up for this, you may contact Mr Jay Pok at jaypok@lhitechnology.com and register your interest. This is an opportunity not to be missed. Peace!
